Canine Ehrlichiosis TestWhy use Speed® Ehrli?
Canine ehrlichiosis is caused by a bacterial infection of white blood cells: Ehrlichia canis
The vector of the disease is the brown tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus). Ehrlichia is present throughout Europe.
When should you perform Speed® Ehrli?
Speed® Ehrli can be used to detect recent contamination with Ehrlichia canis but also animals that are chronic carriers of the bacteria. Speed® Ehrli is ideally suited to a regular monitoring.
In the event of indicative clinical signs, Speed® Ehrli can be used to help the practionner for the differential diagnosis.
In group housing situations, Speed® Ehrli can be used to detect carrier animals prior to their introduction, thus enabling the instigation of appropriate sanitary measures .Speed® Ehrli can be used to minimize the risks of contamination during blood transfusion.
- Speed® Giardia can be used to detect the excretion of Giardia cysts in dogs, cats, and cattle, and thus implement a specific treatment programme from the onset of the very first signs.
- Quick and easy to perform, Speed® Giardia can be performed during a consultation or visit in only 10 minutes.
- Speed® Giardia can be stored for 16 months at room temperature, between 2 and 30°C.
