Rodent IOP measurementIcare Finland has developed the Icare® TONOLAB tonometer for laboratory research. The Icare® TONOLAB has been specially designed for rodent (rat /mouse) IOP measurement.
The tonometer is based on a rebound measuring principle in which a very light weight probe is used to make momentary contact with the cornea. The device is easy to use and the measurement causes little to no discomfort for the subject. The IOP is instantly displayed in mmHg.
